After 18 mnths with Chubb and never received a statement per email per my specific instructions as I travel a lot. I got an email around Sep '12 that my payment will go up but no amount indicated, on query it was R216 so I started paying that instead of R200 pm. I checked post box in Jan '13 first time after 12months to find accounts posted and monthly payment is actually R234pm and I am R340 in arrears. I queried from Cape Town and this was confirmed but not even they could prove I was informed of the increase. I refused to pay and the Regional Manager (same guy who confirmed the R216 pm increase) called me and agreed but he did not want me to cancel subscription, asked for one more chance and he will investigate since Chubb had not responded twice to alarm activation either. He never came back to me so I sent email to cancel and I am not paying a cent to them anymore. Last week they called to remove radio transmitter "urgently" and we cancelled plans waiting for them, 7 days later still no one came. Great NO service. Alarm is standalone now, have dogs and a shotgun, and .. who needs Chubb!!
