On the 23rd of February 2013 my car was at a car wash. According to video footage the SBV armoured vehicle stopped at the side of the shop in order to fill a Standard Bank ATM. The driver and a second guard left the vehicle to refill the ATM.
During this time the SBV armoured vehicle started to roll forward with no driver and came to a stand still against my vehicle at the car wash. There was significant damages to my car as a result.
My vehicle is rendered unmovable as a result of the accident. After obtaining quotations for SBV, the car is still to be fixed and no alternative method of transport was provided until such time SBV decides to fix the vehicle.
Due to their negligence and the total lack of respect for others by SBV, my family and business had to suffer severe inconveniences and potential losses for the past 6 weeks! To make matters worse, it would seem there is absolutely no interest from SBV to resolve this matter any time soon or to at least try and alleviate the discomfort caused by their company's negligence, as the silence from SBV is deafening.
