Does the account department know what is going on

I was informed by a lady in the accounts department that I was to pay an amount of R1200.00 for services rendered. I requested a breakdown of the amount and I recieved an account which absolutely meant nothing. I could not establish what I had to pay for and what had been deducted from account.. On a day (i do not recall) I recieved a call from a lady from the ADT accounts department requesting that I owe an amount of R900.00 and a couple of cents, could she deduct this amount over a two month period from my account, if I recal correctly R475.00. I agreed. Today 20/02/13 I recieved a call that I still owe R1200.00. Does the account department know what is going on, I must just pay and pay!!!
