I have tried to contact ALTECH NETSTAR to cancel a policy after the sale of a vehicle in November 2013 already. After calling weekly and holding on for periods of between 20 and 40 mins at a time, I placed a stop order on my account. This month, they continued to debit my account with double premiums and refuse to cancel an up coming debit order as they insist on 30 day cancellation notice, yet they are not available to assist clients telephonically. Surresh, the call centre agent was helpful when I finally got hold of them, but insist that I need to prove that I tried to cancel this policy.
That is the great service that you get from a Company that is suppose to protect. Continue to rob more premiums from the south africans that you are suppose to protect and use your lame excuse of " you could have sent an email" and "prove that you tried to cancel" in order to get out of refunding premiums that do not belong to you!!!
