Let me help you out here. If you don't have a security service provider company yet, and is looking for someone, do not make use of adt. They are totally incompetent to serve their clients. I have had 2 panic situations where I really needed them to assist (as I was actually looking at the tugs in my garden), and in both instances, they took more than 20 min to get to me. So I tried cancelling my contract for about 7 months. They just refuse. They don't call back, the don't assist. They just keep on taking debit orders. Here's what you do. Call your bank. State that the debit order must be reversed and that adt cannot debit money from your account anymore. It worked for me. adt still thinks I am a client and still tries to deduct money from my account. They will also tell you that you are not allowed to cancel. That is non-sense, but don't cancel via them as they don't do it. Don't even communicate with them. Just call your bank as it is your right to cancel the debit order, and that is how you do it.
