Tracker was installed into my new car in November 2012 on request of Outsurance. I had no idea it was a contract for 36 months and when I wanted to cancel it in January 2014 as I went to a different Insurance company I was told I owe R1300 for the remaining term and I also had to pay for the deinstallation of the unit in my car. I was told that my terms and conditions are on the reverse of my contract which they are not. Today when the technician came to take the unit out he was firstly 2 hours late for the appointment then he made me sign another contract to take it out and at the bottom it said I should read the terms and conditions on the website!! Well which person is going to make the technician wait whilst they log onto the web to read their terms and conditions, ridiculous!! So I still have no idea where Tracker got the idea from that I had a 3 year contract with them, but to get the unit out the car I paid them in the meantime but bitterly unhappy that it was not clear to me that this was a 3 year contract.
