I have a three year tracker contract through Talk-sure. I had this installed last year May/June (2013). I was recently in an accident and called Tracker to de-activate the device and to arrange to install one in my new car. With Talksure I was told that the fee to move the device to a new vehicle would be R375, so when I requested this to happen Tracker informed me that, was the deal at that time and now the prices have increased to R1195 but they would move the device for R695. I made numerous calls to Tracker to get this sorted out, and eventually upon hearing the recording when I took out the contract; Tracker still tried to get out of it saying that the Rand is weak, and the cost of the devices are increasing. that I understand, but cost don't increase by close to 100% in a 6 month period. And to add that the operator did not state that the price was fixed at R375. Eventually Tracker has agreed to charge me the R375 for the moving of the device for this time.
I also have requested a copy of the price increase statement 3X and still have not received this.
If I did not have a 3 year contract, I would not still be with Tracker, as they over very poor service to their clients.
