As per the previous e-mail and telephone conversation, we have cancelled our contract with ADT as from 28 October 2013.
Our final debit order was suppose to be end November 2013 for the month of December as our account is debited in advance.
On 31 December 2013 another debit order was taken from my account to the amount of R439.04 despite us cancelling our contract with ADT on 28 October 2013.
I phoned the ADT call centre today and was eventually transferred to Gift. Gift was very unhelpful despite the facts being very clear. He told me that once the matter was investigated, it would take 1-2 days to refund me and another 7-14 days for the amount to clear in my account. I told him this is unacceptable and that he should contact within 1 hour with feedback. Needless to say, he NEVER bothered to contact me.
The radio link hasn't even been connected with ADT since end October and ADT has failed to even notice this.
I have given ADT the appropriate cancellation period notice and demand that this amount be refunded to my account within 24hours. ADT has no right to take any further debit orders and should this money not be refunded I will open a case of.
