Just called in to cancel my tracker contract.
After a while on the phone, it was finally done, however the person on the line advised me that the tracker unit needs to stay in my vehicle and that if I want it removed, I need to pay them a R400 fee!
What utter nonsense! When it comes to putting the unit it, they are quite happy to do it. When you cancel, they charge you for taking out the equipment you don't need anymore! How can it be so?
I am more than willing to bring the vehicle into their service center, yet they insist that I must pay to get rid of something that should not be in my vehicle if I cancelled my contract.
Naturally people in the call center could not care less that I am complaining. I cannot even get a telephone number of the manager to escalate this issue.
Pathetic!
