Tracking unit not working

I requested a test on both my vehicles (18th of November) to ensure everything is in order before the holidays. I quickly received feedback that my one unit is working, but received no response for my second unit. After phoning tracker again firstly they said that there was no record of the unit in question to be tested. They phoned me back later stating that the unit was tested but they are not happy with the results and that is why I didn't receive an SMS. So does that mean that you just ignore errors if the customer doesn't enquire again?

This also means that the monthly payment made is for absolutely no service since the service being paid for is for tracking of a vehicle. Now they want me to pay about R395 for a technician to investigate. How is it that the device is suddenly not working? It is a new car (only 1 year old) with no modifications made to it and not even a scratch which could have damaged it but you want the customer to pay.

From my personal experience I would rather suggest people to look at other options before just getting a Tracker installed. The other complaints on this site speaks for itself.
