I called Chubb Accounts querying my account. The person dealing with the account needed to refer to a colleague (assume more senior), and she asked me to hold on. What followed made me feel very uncomfortable, in that I heard the entire 'expert consultation' from the colleague - one that was in general derogotory towards me, the customer.
Being somewhat shocked, I called the customer care line, 0861 002 211. There, after finding out incidentally that my alarm system was not transmitting a radio signal (further shock to me). I was told that if I wanted to pursue a formal complaint I should send an email. (consider posting an email address then, instead of a phone number!) By the way, he also metioned that Chubb cannot be faulted for not notifying me that a signal was not being trasmitted, as contractually I am obliged to test it.
Just got that sense of being a door mat right now, and all I have done is try and make sure my account is up to date. Thanks Chubb for the great service.
