I have Altech Netstar tracking on 5 of my vehicles. They are very often unable to locate the vehicles when I do test calls (as required bi-annually by insurance co). The best occurred in the presence of my insurance broker. My vehicle was parked outside my office and Netstar calls back to say they "located my car" approximately 10 km away in a high risk area it had never been previously. Do yourself a favour - if you are planning on fitting a vehicle tracker, please speak to other people about the satisfaction they have with Netstar products before committing yourself to a contract. The only thing that seems to work like clockwork is when they take your money out of your account every month. When my vehicles were fitted, the installers came out to my premises. On one vehicle - the system is totally non functional and I have been asked to book it in to a fitment centre as they will charge a call out fee to send a technician out. Absolutely zero after sales service. It takes at least 10 minutes to get an answer on their telephonic helpline.
