How is this possible as I as the customer have done what I was supposed to do and paid my premiums yet ADT is allowed to get away with it. Their telephonic advert states that they check the alarm systems twice a week. I have been with them for more than 2 years and no one has ever checked my alarm. Since then I cannot get any kind of insurance. I have been ripped off by the criminal, MIWAY and ADT. They promised to place my house on high alert which still has not happened. My kitchen door needed to be replaced after the and I phoned to get the technical people to come, a week later they told me they cannot and that I would have to pay ZAR 400 for the call out and another ridiculous amount for the contact. I will also be lodging a complaint with the complaints commission. I would like to know who checks the security companies so that customers are protected.
