On 1 Jan 2013 at 2.30am we arrived home to find our house burgled and ransacked. I called Adt to find out whether they sent out a guard to check out our place and they said they did and he reported that everything was o.k, which means he clearly didn't check the back otherwise he would've seen that the back door was broken and that's where the gained entry. Which leaves me wondering what we are paying over R400 a month to Adt for. He then came back and explained that Adt received signals at 20.45 and 20.50 on 31 Dec 2012 but only sent him to investigate at 23.45! This type of service is totally unacceptable! We then requested a Response Report from them on 3 Jan, waited a week, asked them again, and eventually they sent a report with signal times of 21.40 and 22.20 (which did not tally with the times the guard had given us) but NO RESPONSE TIME! On 16 Jan I sent an email of complaint to Beverly Baadjies of Adt Head Office and she promised to "escalate it to the relevant managers" Their "Liezel" then got back to me and promised to get the Response Report to me by the close of business that day. I have not received any further communication from Adt. My patience have run out..
