ADT - I stay in Fish hoek, Friday afternoon 4 men try to get into my property and my girlfriend was home alone, I was at work when she phoned me in a Very scared state, I told her to press the Panic button which sets of the siren and send the signal, I then phoned the 0861212300 number and the control room said they have not received any signal (USELESS FAULTY HARDWARE!!), then it took them at least 25 min to 30min to send the patrol car through to the premises!! As you know, Fish Hoek is a small place with no traffic.
Luckily the Siren stopped them from entering the property. We just moved from Pta where we stayed in a secured complex, moving here I decided to install an alarm system when she is home alone or when we are away, I paid almost R7000 for broken unreliable ADT grey products and demand a full refund!!
I know ADT Don't care as long as they get their installation money and their monthly amount of - R400!!!
ADT was so quick to come and install and get debit orders signatures, but after that - NO MORE SERVICE!!!
After the incident I have spoken to a few people and they all told me how bad ADT was with them but that they were bound by the 2 year contract...
