Adt what do you want me to pay for_no service

I signed my second contract with adt in january 2011, after the 1st one whivh expired in 2009, I asked the sales consultant to use my 1st account, and a typicalsalsman decided to open a new account, anyway I needed the service, the guy told me that the was no need to upgrade the system which was installed in 2006 or do any technical inspections, I believed him, it did not last two months, my alarm would go off and get no response from adt, andi was told that they are not receibkng the signal, in october 2011 the lady phonedme to get the alarm and it was definately not working, adt promised to check the problem and come back to me, I am still waiting for the call, i send a letter in october to cancel the service after empty promises, and was told that the request will be actioned, I am still receiving calls from the accounts department for payment of the account, what for?
