We have extended our house and needed extra contact points and we contacted ADT who gave sent a sales person (Kevin Pillay). Kevin came and gave us a quote which we paid for the next day 26 Jun 2013. He advised me that the technicians will come in - 10 days after payment. I am yet to get people to come to my house. I was phoned on 15 Jul 2013 with an appointment for people to come the next day and I was unfortunately not available and informed the call centre lady that I would phone to let them know when I am available as I am constantly at work. I then requested for them to come on a Sat and was told that I would have to pay a call out fee for this service; I refused to pay anything extra, when my system was installed it was done on a Sat, how come I have to pay extra now that I'm 'hooked' in a contract? I then phoned on Tues 30 Jul to inform them that they can come the next day as I was available and they informed me that it was not possible, after a lengthy debate, I spoke to a Kevin who is a supervisor at the call centre and he said the best he could do was wed, and I took a day off. no one came. I am very appauled at their bad service and want a way out of their contract.
