ADT needs to up their game

The process of getting our contract updated is far more tedious and annoying than needs to be. Our company recently had a break in and we wanted to get our contract updated as soon as possible. Ie. we wanted to pay ADT MORE money to have armed response included in our deal. A simple telephone call is all that it should take. If one can get full car insurance that way through insurance companies surely it should be the same. No. its not. Adt employs people who answers the phones who are basically answering services. They then forward your query onto a sales consultant. You can't speak directly to a sales consultant. The human answering service insists on making an appointment for the sales consultant to come and see you in person. Not necessary. i have no interest in developing a relationship. I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW MUCH EXTRA IT WILL COST PER MONTH?!! Streamline your sales process. Make it simple. Don't tell me "it doesn't work that way". Respond to my emails. Personally return my calls and don't send me an sms telling me to phone some other "sales consultant". And then if you drop off paperwork, don't asks for all the documents that you received when we sign up years ago. Sigh
