Unacceptable Response Time

In November 2012 our house was broken in to, our neighbours advised us that from the time the alarm went off till the time the ADT vehicle responded was 27 minutes, giving the criminals enough time to all our electronic equipment. Ironically Blue Security who are not even contracted to protect our premises managed to apprehend the two suspects and held them till SAPS arrived to arrest them.

On Monday night driving home from work I received a call from ADT advising that there was an Alarm activation. I requested a vehicle as I was on my way home and that I would be home shortly, 20 minutes after arriving home I phoned only to be told the vehicle was on its way, the vehicle eventually arrived around 30 minutes after the initial call from ADT.

Upon contacting ADT to ask what the reason was for the delay, all I received was an apology for the delay advising that they only have two vehicles for the whole of Hillcrest. I find that completely unacceptable I pay my fees every month without fail and on two seperate occassions when I have needed ADT they have failed to deliver. I would like my fees refunded as I have paid for a service which ADT has failed to deliver.
