I bought a house fitted with ADT Security infrastructure and decided to activate the service. An ADT salesman came over for inspection and advised that a part of the system needs to be updated and I was charged an activation fee of about R400 on the spot - eft payment.
A few days later I received a call from ADT and we set up an appointment for the installation of the update. Barely minutes before the arranged time I received a call postponing the installation. This happened on three (3) ocassions to which I then called to cancel the contract as I wasn't happy at all - I had to take time off work for every cancellation.
I had been in contact with ADT and they agreed to cancel and refund. To my surprise however I am yet to receive a refund, instead a debit order of R399 went off. I am tired of calling and emailing I just want my R800 back.
