Prosperity Health [ Renaissance Medical Aid Fund]
Misleading and False Advertising / Accounts Fraud

Prosperity Health [ https://prosperityhealth.com/wp/ ], administering Renaissance Medical Aid Fund [ https://www.rmanam.com/ ] is registered in Namibia with their Head-Office in Windhoek, they don't operate in South-Africa at all, so all references on the internet with a South-African reference to them or South-African contact numbers should be ignored with immediate effect.

A recent incident of which a Medical Aid Claim was submitted to Prosperity Health and/or Renaissance Medical Aid Fund in lieu of a Service provided to Renaissance Medical Aid Fund by a Service Provider [Not to be divulged at this point] in South-Africa, had by way of a Invoice for the Service as provided and forwarded by e-mail to Renaissance Medical Aid Fund, has led to the misfortunate event that neither Prosperity Health the Administrator of the Medical Aid nor Renaissance Medical Aid Fund themselves had taken any initiative nor made any form of payment for the service as provided in 2021 as they have used a tactic in duplicating the Invoices as per their Accounting/Administration System, not as was send by the Service provider as a Single Invoice with a Total Amount to be settled, and withholding any action in lieu of the Service Provider and refer to their own error in proof without taking responsibility and therefore withholding payment and to the reason for not paying the account for the services rendered in full.

It is therefore that they place the account to be paid to the service provider for services which had already been provided, on hold, yet in terms of their own discrepancies that they perform these actions, also stating that if the account had not been provided for within 4 months that it shall not be deemed to be held responsible for payment thereof.

The above scenario without divulging private and confidential information, speaks volumes in an act of fraudulent activities.

It is herewith that I do hope that the company becomes aware of this fact and acknowledges their error in committing to their responsibility and their payment outstanding in lieu of services as rendered by the institution/s in the Western Cape, South-Africa.

Kind Regards
