I am really becoming disappointed in the quality of the cinema experience. I logged a complaint June last year and to be honest I haven't bothered going to the cinema again specifically because of the quality of viewing.
Cine 6 - Greenstone showing of Oblivion. This is now a SciFi Movie and really should be experienced on the big screen, much to my disappointment. The top and bottom of the screen were continuously blurry and there was a continuous flickering of the brightness levels. It is so obvious when the credits are rolling that you can only clearly read the credits when they are within about the middle 1.5M of the screen.
When is some of the money movie goers spend on the popcorn and tickets going to go to the upkeep of the cinemas? Never mind you are subjected to so much advertising these days and get maybe 1 or 2 previews.
If I wanted to watch Downloaded CAM Quality movies, it is so easy to do, I don't need to spend R200 for 2 people to go see it.
