I got the worst service from Ster-Kinekor on Saturday 13th April from the staff at Ster-Kinekor Tygervally, I went to watch the 2:15pm GI Joe movie. I wanted to redeem the 10 Groupon/Ster-Kinekor movie vouchers that I had bought in January. When I tried to redeem the vouchers, 9 of them said "invalid" I was only able to redeem 1 voucher, I went to the desk and tried to redeem it, got the same message "invalid", I asked the lady at the counter to assist me, as we wanted to the tickets sorted asap in order to watch the movie. She was not keen to assist me and told me that I must contact Groupon myself to sort out the matter, as it had nothing to do with Ster Kinekor. I told her that the deal is between Groupon and Ster-Kinekor and pointed out that the message on the screen clearly stated that the voucher is invalid and that the manager on duty can assist. I unfortunately did not get her name, she was not keen to give it to me. I was told that I had to contact Groupon first thing Monday to sort out as they do not have a weekend number that one can contact them on. I ended up buying 2 full priced tickets to see the movie, rest of our group had to go back home. Vouchers expire 30 Apr.
