Even professors make mistakes

My father in law holds a gold card at sun international. He previously made a booking using this gold card at carnival city hotel, where its R50 per night. Recently he asked my to phone them and make a booking for him. This was done but the rude and abrupt response from the receptionist which answer the phone was he does not qualify for this. Now if he used it before what changed? The question was put through and her answer was they made a mistake, and even professors make mistakes. When asked to explain the qualification rules she could not do this. when asked to be put through to management the call got "cut off". When i phoned back later the same lady said that management was not available, i left a message from them to call me back no response as yet. this is not good business practise.
