MY STATUS DETERMINES AVAILABLE ACCOMODATION!!

My husband & I are attending a family member's wedding in August 2013. Because we are MVG Gold Card members of Sun International, I decided to book our accomodation at the Sibaya Hotel as I was certain we would receive a discount. To my horror, I was told by Cathy at Reservations (reservation number 25529931) that because I am not a MVG PLATINUM Card Holder, I cannot get a booking at the Hotel, but she can book me at the Sibaya Lodge as the Hotel is reserved only for Platinum Card Holders over the weekend. How ridiculous and selfish is this because I have used my points to stay at the Sun City Palace before & now I am told that my MVG status is not good enough for Sibaya!!

I am really disgusted with Sun International as a whole and will never refer any family or friend to book any accomodation with this brand becoz it will depends on the money you spend in casino's I am searching for alternate accomodation as this is a family wedding that cannot be missed and if I do get something else, even if it's a smaller hotel that is not as fancy as Sun International, I will cancel this booking in a heart beat because it's about customer service and satisfaction and not about the money I hav
