45 minutes and still waiting

I think it is totally unacceptable to hang on for over 45 minutes to speak to a consultant
I have made a payment to settle our account and have been trying for 4 hours to get it reconnected!
This is surely not what customer service is about. This telephone call is going to cost more then the monthly subscription.
