Downgraded from Compact to just SABC channels. Multichoice did no inform us there is a monthly fee of R22 a month no billing was sent to us informing us about the payment. Our services were suspended on Sunday without notification. My wife called them on Sunday after waiting in the for 15 minutes calling from her cellphone. The gentleman from multichoice explained that we had to pay a reconnection fee of R50 and our monthy fee of R 22. My wife said that we are not going to pay the R50 as it was neglegence on there part in not informing us of the monthly fee. Long story short he said he will exclude the reconnection fee and we must just pay R22 at a checkers store and we will be connected in the next 2 hours which we did. No connection was established. Yesterday we call multichoice again waiting for 15 minutes to speak to a operator calling from the cellphone again. And the person on the the other end trying to connect me for 10 minutes using my cell phone for a 25 minute call imagine what my phone bill is going to be this month?? After 10 minutes of trying she informed me that their systems were down and cannot connect me I must call tomorrow to get connected. From my cell?
