WRONGFURECONNECTION

I purchased PVR 3 years ago and subsequently cancelled the previous smartcard decoder and all was well until last month. When I received an envelope message about the due date and on the very day that I'm meant to pay they switch me off. Two days later I go pay amount due and re-connection fee and automatically we back online. Then yesterday I get an envelope message with an amount due that was not the usual subscription. When I inquire I'm being told that I activated myself on the previous cancelled card of a decoder that was packed away when the PVR was bought. I do not know how I could activate my line when I don't have such luxuries and I'm expected to pay the amount or else I will be switched off, if I want the service.
I feel begrudged that as paying subscriber I'm treated as a criminal and again the reason that I refuse to go on debit order was this kind of conduct.
