Multichoice
Unnecessary Disconnection

We moved to Amanzimtoti on 1st March 2013. I went to Lethuzipho on Saturday to buy new DSTV package, as old dish structure was rusted. Installation was due for Monday 4/3/2013. No problem. I asked for old decoder to be deactivated, and new one activated after installation. Was promised this was done. I cancelled debit order on 18th March, due to retrenchment, said i would continue by paying cash. No problem. Received sms to say I owed R1149-00 on account. PROBLEM! Went back to Lethuzipho on 30/03 to follow up and change address details. Paid monthly subscription on 27/04 for May, in cash. Got up on Saturday 04/05 to find decoder switched off. Service suspended. Went back to Lethuzipho for 3rd time to try sort this out. NO JOY. Was told to pay additional R541 before reconnection would be done. Was told I have TWO decoders running! This after I asked on 02/03 already to have the old one deactivated. Received mail on TV on Saturday to say decoder smartcard number 42818241376 has been deactivated as per request on 04/05/2013. THIS IS MY NEW DECODER SMARTCARD NUMBER!!! What more can I do to get these people to sort this out?? Lethuzipho staff deny that the fault is theirs. HELP
