I'm a multichoice subscriber and in 2011 I activated a debit order of which I defaulted in payment for a month or two. Multichoice deactivated my subscription rightfully so too but I paid and activated my account but this year I found out that they had listed me on ITC and after some correspondence with their delisting department they concluded that they couldn't remove my name from the ITC records even thought the debt was paid in full. Needless to say that this reflects bad on my credit record and my future job prospects. DSTV is pay as you watch TV so I don't understand how they could have me listed when I don't pay as apposed to just switching off my subscription for the month not paid. My advise to people activating their debit order not to do it or else they will find themselves in the same predicament as I find myself in.
