On 31Dec12, XPR Events hosted a New Years Eve Party at uShaka. My Fiance'&I anticip8d goin2dis party 4rm wen we 1st saw it advrtisd. We wer informd via the advertising used dat 3dance floors wud b used including da Tanks as1, also that ther wud be per4mances by internationl DJ's inclusve of Martin McHale&Lisa Lashes on da main dans floor thru-out the nyt playin Progresive Trance. Dis was howevr not the case, der wer4dans floors inclusive of the Tanks&only patrons with VIP access wer entitld2enter the Tank dans floor, this was not a major problm, but a minor disapointmnt. The major disapointmnt came when the other 2 dans floors were closd by 1:30 a.m., and every1 was sent to the main dans floor. On top of dis, a local DJ named Funky G that was scheduld to play on another dans floor startd playin at this time on da main dans floor until close. We never heard any of the internationl DJ's&are evn skepticl dat they did perform at all. All of the bars also had inexperienced bar staff, &altho dey wer more dan adequetly staffd, dey lackd experience and patrons had2 wait for mo dan 30mins at a time2b servd. We felt cheatd for da evenin an da R500 dat we paid 4both our tickets.
