Two weeks ago we found that the sound had disappeared from Mnet. All the other channels on both the decoder and the TV are fine. When we reported the problem, the consultant first denied it, but later conceded that they had some "minor" technical issues and it would soon be resolved. Since then we have phoned on several occasions and each time we were told that the problem was in hand and would soon be resolved. This evening, we phoned and insisted on speaking to someone senior. First we were told that no one senior was on duty? Then we were told that the supervisor was not available to speak to clients?! Finally when we were able to speak the the hapless bod, we were told that large areas of the Mnet network were down and that they had no idea what the problem was or if & when it would be repaired? There was no one technical on duty in the technical department and all that they could do was "relay/escalate" our complaint. They seem unable to repair the problem and unwilling to refund us. Whats worse is that there appears to be no solution in sight. Very poor service from Mnet & MultiChoice. Two weeks with NO MNet Sound! It seems we are expected to learn to lip read...
