On 29 Dec 2014 I made a payment of R700 at SPAR in Parow. The cashier made a mistake my swapping the last 2 digits of my customer number
Spar put the request through to have the payment moved on Friday 31 Jan.
I made a phone-call to check and was told that it was fixed and waiting approval.
On Saturday (1 Feb) I called again and the as my account was activated while I was on the phone - the called cost me R50
On Sunday (2 Feb) morning a message appeared on the screen that said Thank you for re-activation.
Yesterday (3 Feb) I got the message on the screen to pay R700
I called this morning (4 Feb) and was re-assured that the payment has been moved and my account is up to date - the called cost me R30 - just to get home and have my account disconnected with the message to pay R700 activation fee.
I tried to phone twice since I got home having to listen to the automated machine & music for a half hour with no result - the calls cost me R80
My phone calls will cost more than my subscription this month
