SUBSCRIPTION CONDUCT

I have been with MTN for 4 years, don't use my phone much and have paid the same R238 with R200 anytime minutes for years. Last night I checked on my available balance etc., and was stunned to hear that - R800 accumulated free minutes had 'disappeared' from my account, and my monthly billing had increased by R100 odd. On phoning MTN this morning I was told that I was subscribed to 'BUONGIORNO' and these charges related to my 'browsing' sessions. Buongiorno, Who, I've never heard of them and as I have no subscriptions to anyone other than MTN and actually hate them, was speechless. They immediately unsubscribed me and I then phoned BGSA at their Cape Town business number to get to the bottom of this with details. They have very cleverly set up their response to jump from option 1 to 2 which is 'unsubscribe' only so there is absolutely no option of being able to query things with a physical person.
This is of grand proportions and I have lodged a complaint with WASPA only to see that there are LOADS of complaints against BGSA online with WASPA being totally neutral on this and doing nothing to stop it. Anyone else been cheated like this?
