DSTV Select follow-up

I've logged a report on hellopeter about my dstv select smartcard just being deactivated without my knowledge:

About 2 years ago Vodacom silently started migrating this service back to Multichoice, but without really telling anyone. Imagine my surprise when, about 3 weeks ago, the DSTV Select smartcard suddently stops working, only now to learn that I can't reactivate it. Even THOUGH ALL the material published at the beginning of the year about the discontinuation of this service said that ALL subscribers that had this, can continue to use it.
I've NEVER deactivated this service. I've never received communications from Vodacom or Multichoice that I should be migrating back from Vodacom to Multichoice to continue using the service. And suddenly this is now my fault? Can we get this resolved?

DINEO from multichoice replied to this and gave me a call, and promised to follow-up with me on Tuesday 17 December. I tried reaching her on dstv's contact number, but they don't know anyone by that name, and I haven't received any follow-up. The call centre all supposedly escalated the issue but no one contacted me yet. Could Dineo please call me back so we can get this issue resolved?
