I often go to Ster Kinekor Cresta and haven't had a problem before. The prices seem to have increased which is not a problem for me. I've never had a problem buying the popcorn and soft drinks from the cinema kiosk despite the fact that most people sneak items in due to the excessive prices. However I do expect premium quality in return for paying such high prices for snacks. On Tuesday 3 December we purchased two small popcorns and two regular Coke Zeros from the kiosk. The popcorn was unbelievably stale! I actually abandoned the box after three bites. I asked for Coke Zero instead the server gave me Coke and when I rectified her she "clucked" at me and deliberately took extra long to give me my order, so much so that we missed the first 5 minutes of the movie! All the servers have terrible attitudes at Ster Kinekor Cresta and the snacks are stale and unappetising. Movie-goers pay R80 and upwards for snacks at this cinema and this is what they are given in return?! Its disgraceful! its actually. If Ster Kinekor isnt careful more and more people are going to illegally download just so that they don't get swindled out of their money at a cinema.
