My friends and I decided to book tickets to the pre release of Fast and furious 6. Few of my friends drove from Alberton in traffic just because the Ster kinekor in Sandon city was the only ones showing the movie a week earlier. All excited to see the movie, we waited in anticipation because firstly it started late. Then afew minutes into the movie it got stuck. We were told that it would be sorted out. So we waited and waited... then we were told that the problem couldn't be fixed and that we would be given complimentary tickets and popcorn to any show at any cinema.
Our evening of enjoying a good movie with friends was spoiled because of lack off or no planning at all from a big company like ster kinekor. How do you advertise pre release and not test the movie first... we wasted time and money to go to something the was such a BIG FLOP.
So we waited for the official release of the movie and decided to use our tickets at Cresta which was fine, however we were not given our popcorn because it was not stated on our tickets. So yet again Ster kinekor was a disappointment.
Ster kinekor at Sandton city is useless, definitely my last time there.
