The above mentioned cinema was experiencing a network failure yesterday for most of the day. When we arrived we headed for the self service terminal with one of the staff members close by watching us. Only once we were having issues with it did he inform us that the terminals are not working and we should proceed to the snack counters to buy our tickets.
We queued in one of the lines and once in front were we informed that tickets are only available at ONE of the stations and we should proceed to that line. There were no signs or anyone directing people as to where to go. I observed just about every customer reaching the front of the queue and ONLY THEN being told they were in the wrong queue.
One of these customers wouldn't hear of it and instructed one of the staff to sell her a ticket immediately. The guy complied by moving to the ONE ticket terminal available and ignored the rest of us waiting in line.
I spent a total of 35min watching the staff panic and conduct themselves as though there are no procedures in place for such instances. They were disorganised and clueless so much so that the lights were on for the first 5min of our movie. We had to go ask them to turn them off.
