The Early Bird Special went online at 9am today and was closed after only an hour. This is contrary to what was (and still is) being advertised. VIP tickets were discounted by R200 and clearly they misjudged the volume of ticket sales this would generate. They have now rescinded their offer. I am not aware if this is in contravention of any part (s) of the Consumer Protection Act - likely no - but it remains, bad business practice.
