We arrived at the Golden Valley Lodge on 8th November 2013 and was booked in a room. It was very warm in Worcester! It came apparent that the aircon was broken. We called the front desk and they send the repair man. After he was there it still didn't work. We tried again and no avail! The aircon was still broken. The front desk personnel wasn't very helpful nor tried to solve the problem further. We went and bought a fan keep us cool! What bother us is the fact that no help was offered nor even free meal nor free accommodation was given to us for our predicament. What further is the worrying is the fact this hotel has 3 stars. I would not give it even 1 star for the service we got! We are regular customers to the establishment and we can see that the standard of service is degrading.By the way this was the second time we were in a room with no aircon in a very hot Worcester!
