I have for the last couple of months been upgrading and downgrading my subs when necessary as I am not at home all the time and it suited me to have the full bouquet for a week or 2 per month. So on saturday I upgraded again from my Family bouquet for the rugby.
The agent said I can upgrade twice and downgrade once per billing period after I told him i want it connected for a few days. Today i called to downgrade and they told me I can only downgrade 1 day before my pay date (not what the guy said on saturday). So I asked to cancel the service but the consultant said that I need to pay R480 before they can cancel even if I did not receive signal for half of the period (mine is 15th of month). This amounts to extortion and plain. Very dodgy from a company known for underhand tactics.
Please assist as this reflects very bad on multichoice.
