Hi i am a frequent movie goer, but hardly ever go to the cinema at the Promenade Mall in Mitchell's Plain. Yesterday while enjoying a lazy day at home, i decided to take my 8 year old to watch a movie, and not feeling like going too far, we went to the cinema at the Promenade Mall. My question is why is this one of the only cinemas with unreserved seating? This makes it quite chaotic, because the movie was suppose to start at 14h15 but only started at 14h30 because people were still streaming in!! People fumbling in dark trying to get seats together, is simply not on! How do you guys know when a show is fully booked? My 8 year old son even asked me, "what if there are no seats for us? "I mean even an 8 year old can see the problem unreserved seats can cause because its actually common sense. All other cinemas have reserved seating, why not in Mitchell's Plain? I'm sorry but it feels like everything offered to us, is of a sub-standard! Even the refreshment que was so long and moved along sooo slow, because there were 2 people serving one customer-where's the logic in that? While you looking at this complaint maybe consider a 3D cinema as well?
