Can you please explain the logic in screening the horrific trailer for 'World War Z' before the children's movie 'Monsters University'? I had a child with me who was so traumatised that she had to leave the cinema and be collected by her father, before the actual feature had even started! Most of the other trailers were also for kids movies but this one is so violent and terrifying, that I'm sure many adults will be left reeling from it! Some extra thought and effort needs to be put into the planning of what is screened in a cinema filled predominantly with children - who definitely fall out of the age limit for movies like this. With all the current talk about filtering what our children watch, and shielding them from what they don't need to see, Ster Kinekor has failed dismally in this regard. In the future will we have to think twice about taking our kids to kid-friendly movies, purely because the trailers might be unsuitable?
