I rented 3 video cameras for 3 days to Mocke Prinsloo (Flaming Image), working for Emile van Zyl (Seiport - [URL Removed] It was a COD rental, and I settled for 3-day later payment. Its is 2 months later today, and still no payment. Mocke from Flaming Image replied with a snotty email after more than 10 calls, sms's and emails. Emile answered my call once, made a promise, and neither replied nor paid. He spoke to my partner and made another promise. He missed the promised date again without an explanation, and refuses to answer any calls or messages.
I strongly suggest a cash business deal when working with Seisport or Flaming Image, to avoid a similar situation. Not paying is one thing, but not communicating, and making empty promises, damages respect and integrity.
