My pvr dual view decoder was classified as a "dead unit" when I took it in to be look at and Multichoice sold me a refurbished decoder for R479. Since then I have had the decoder swopped 3 times and each time there is a fault with the decoder I am given. Does no one check these refurbished decoders. The advise and service at Umhlanga is terrible, although the agents are very polite. They seem to be many trainees cos supervisors are always hovering behind them. It has cost me R479, plus petrol for 3 trips there, time off work and the cost for an accredited installer to test my signal, which was fine. I have already spent over R1200 and still don't have a decent working decoder. I could have invested that money in new decoders in the first place. Multichoice please give me decent service for which I am paying.
