LACK OF INFORMATION AND POOR SERVICE

I AM LIABLE TO PAY ON 20TH EVERY MONTH. I PAID THE AMOUNT IAW THE MAIL I RECEIVED FOR DSTV COMPACT PACKAGE ON MY DECODER FOR JUNE 2013 ONLY ON 22/6/13 AT ABOUT 8 AM AT SHOPRITE (STILL WITHIN 48HRS!). I LATER THE SAME DAY AT ABOUT 16:45 PHONE IN TO UPGRADE FROM COMPACT TO PREMIUM PACKAGE AND IT WAS UPGRADED. I WOKE UP NEXT DAY ON 23/6/13 AND SAW AT ABOUT 08:30AM THAT MY SERVICE SUSPENDED. I PHONED IN AND WAS INFORMED THAT DSTV DO NOT ACCEPT PAYMENT REF NO ANYMORE AND THAT PAYMENT MUST REFLECT FIRST BEFORE SERVICES WILL BE REACTIVATED (I WAS AT THE SAME TIME INFORMED BY THE TEL ANSWERING SERVICES THAT I MIGHT BE ABLE TO FAX THE RECEIPT TO THEM BUT THE CALL CENTRE AGENT REFUTED THIS). FURTHERMORE, I WAS PROVIDED WITH CONFLICTING AMOUNTS I WAS SUPPOSED TO PAY. I WAS EVENTUALLY INFORMED THAT I SHOULD PAY ABOUT R45 IMMEDIATELY THIS MORNING AT A SPAR, ETC THEN TO CALL BACK THE CALL CENTRE, REQUEST A DOWNGRADE FROM PREM TO COMPACT, AND TO REQUEST RE-ACTIVATION OF MY ACCOUNT., WAS I ANGRY WHEN I EVENTUALLY REACH HOME AT 22:00PM TONIGHT PHONE THE CALL CENTRE TO DO SAME, ONLY TO BE INFORMED THAT MULTICHOICE CANNOT ACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT BECAUSE THEY ARE ON ROUTINE MAINT! UNACCEPTABLE!
