Forver to get my dstv subscription refund back

I cancelled my dsvt in April but the debit order went through my account nonetheless, i folowed up on the refund and spoke to a consultant who assured me that the refund will reflect in my account within 5 days and gave me a reference number. 5 days later it wasn't there, so i called again to follow up and was told the system rejected to process my account because it was over by some odd R2.37, which was apparently some amount associated with my method of payment. So she said she'll fix it and submit it again, assured me it will be in my account in 5 days, then proceeded to give me another reference number. Again i followed up after 5 days this time the consultant says the transaction is lying somewhere pending between the call center and the finance office that needs to approve the refund AND in fact it will take 2 weeks to get the refund. I want to know why i need to wait a month to get a refund!!
