We only activate a DSTV package once every few months, but when we do there's always some sort of issue.
We activated the Compact package on the 19th of April, paid the full amount (R275 now) plus extra, but they cut us off (even the free channels) on the 3rd of May. Wasn't the guy supposed to work out a pro rata fee for the rest of the month of April? I do not have time to go back into the store and stand in the queue, and I hate attempting to call the call centre. It is not the first time we get charged for services not delivered.
(And I guess we are getting used to the idea that it tends to take up to a day before some of the channels start showing after activation.)
