I applied for the New Gate bachelor flat, working under an agent called Elijah. He asked fro a R560 booking fee and gave me a copy of the ABSA deposit slip. I was promised a place and was never granted one, I went to the company directly and was told to contact Elijah's boss Bheki. He told me my application was never submitted and I had to re-apply to claim the refund I had asked for. I re-applied and got an affidavit made to explain the situation. I was told to get another affidavit done as this one was not clear and I did. It has been 3 weeks and I'm still waiting for my money to get deposited into my account. Bheki also failed to tell me that Elijah was fired due to during my refund inquiry. I'm not happy with the service and would just like my money back.
