We have recently moved out of our rented home due to the fact that the owner wanted to move back. When we moved into this property two years ago, it was to say the least, one big mess. So much, that the letting agent did not complete the entro inspection. She said this was to be completed at a later stage when the house was "fixed". The landlord did have a few things fixed, we (out of our own pockets) fixed numerous disfuntional items. After we moved out, we were told we should have had the place fumegated (which was never mentioned to us, nor had it been done before we moved in. This as well as several items which had been damaged before we moved in, was deducted from our deposit. The whole of our deposit was also not given back to us, the top-up deposit was not even mentioned. I enquired about this, but after three days, I still have not received an answer. I am extremely dissapointed in these agents. I feel that we are now paying for everything the previous tenants had done to the house, just because the owner has now moved back. We have always kept our end of the deal, payment was never one day late.
